This simple model of the man is based on crimp.

On first three diagrams we mark lightnings creases on the square sheet of paper. Then, we repeat these actions in the perpendicular direction. In the fifth diagram we continue to mark the creases, already diagonal.

The most complex stage is sixth. Actually model will fold at this stage, and further there is some it completion.
